BANJO BROTHERS CUSTOM BANJOS & RIMS

There is a lot that could be said I guess but, I will try to keep it short.  

        My name is Donald and I started playing banjo about 1977 when I was about 17 years old. That is all I was interested in for years but then in my 30's I gained a new appreciation for all the acoustic instruments and realized that they all had a great sound and individuality that I liked when put in the right hands. So I started learning how to play other instruments as well.

                 I mostly play banjo and mandolin. I started playing mandolin in my late 30's and it has become the instrument that I play the most.

                      I started building guitars, mandos, and fiddles about 1998.  I love creating these instruments and then being able to actually get some use out of them. I just finished a mando a few months ago and now in a couple of weeks should be finished with my new fiddle.  Then it is on to finish my guitar and other two mandos I have started.

                    Bluegrass music is my favorite to play and listen to but I also do participate in many other styles at times as well.
