Yes a bulk buy would be smart. Hey any other members need a case or banjo shaped suitcase?

I may be able to build them, but the price of a cheap one governs the build price. Let me know what you can buy one for and we'll go from there.........

There is a mob in S.A, called presto mouldings, they make blow moulded banjo cases.I still have to find an address or phone number. Doole banjos use them so they must make open back size cases, stay tuned.

Hello splodga, sorry I didnt reply to your post sooner. The average price of a reasonable quality case(probably made in china) ranges from $120 to $200 or so.Wether you can build one for that price I dont know, but Im sure it would be of much better quality..cheers peter.

OK...............I will get some prices together, but I don't think I'll be able to get the hardware for much less than the price of a chinese case by the sounds of that price. The locks could be  up to $12 each alone! Bending ply is about $100 a sheet, and standard 12mm ply $40 a sheet. The lining could be cheap or expensive depending on what ppl would want it lined with (vinyl is cheap, suede expensive, and as I see it theres only one interior lining and thats crushed velvet,) so I'll see what I can do....
