As Banjo lovers, we are only here to help and support others like us. When we started the banjo there was no help. Every shop we went to was all about guitars and drums. Nobody understood our banjo playing needs. Things like head tension, bridge placement, string gauge, string action, neck relief, geared tuners, tailpiece height and down force pressure etc. We were lucky enough to have been mentored by some other builders and expert players to pass on their knowledge. After many years playing and building banjos we understand a lot more about the instrument and the correct method of adjustments to get the sound we are wanting.
